I loved the beginning of "The Big Sick" but I watched it on an airplane and haven't see the last 1/3 of it yet. It's about Pakistani-American stand-up comedian Kumail Nanjiani and how he met his wife. He was an aspiring comedian and Uber driver whose family was constantly trying to set him up with Pakistani women while he was dating a white woman. Then the woman he was dating got a really bad infection and he had to face his and her family's judgement while she was a drug-induced coma.

Watched 'Cell' a few nights ago, it's an oldie but was surprisingly good. A very different story line with some seriously well done trippy sets/scenes!

Wonder, Lady Bird, and Three Billboards outside Ebbings, Missouri are all outstanding flicks. So was The Big Sick. JusticeLleague not so hot.

Watched 'Guardians of the Universe Vol 2' last night.

OMG what a flick, it was fantastic! Loved every moment of it, a great story and amazing special effects!

The raccoon had the best lines and had me rolling; great flick, may watch it again tonight on my main AV system.

Watched 'War for the Planet of the Apes' last night and stopped after an hour.

Too much monkey talk and not enough action, a total let down.

Watched an oldie but goodie from my BR library last night, 'Platoon'. What a flick, seriously well made and realistic.

Seeing all the cool original XM type CARs makes me want to build a replica with Kalistan features.

Watched 'Dunkirk' last night, it was FREAKING AMAZING!

Seriously well made and I felt like I was in the battle with excellent cinematography, and four intertwined stories.

A must see flick!

Watched 'Kingsmen II' last night, it was great, loved the special effects as usual.

Sad to see Merlin bite the dust, but I'm sure they'll find an equally terrific tech guru for the next one.

Battle of the Sexes was strange, yet amusing. And I recommend it.

Watched 'Baby Driver' and 'American Assassin'.

'Baby Driver' was great for the first 10 minutes, then I fell asleep.

'American Assassin' was great, watched it twice already, loved the firearms that were used.

Catching up, watched: 1) 'Unlocked', 2) 'Death on the Nile' and 3) 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico'.

All three were OK, but I fell asleep after an hour of 2) & 3).

'Unlocked' had some good gunfight scenes, but it was just too long and had too many twists & turns.

So, I had to watch it to the end to see what the hell happened and who the really bad guy was.
